My dog is matted but I don’t want him shaved.

De- matting can be painful for your dog. It is stressful and sometimes dangerous. Older dogs cannot handle the stress of de-matting, and puppies should never be de-matted as it teaches them that grooming is a long and painful experience.

Our first priority is the comfort and safety of your pet. Although we will attempt to de-mat your dog’s coat it is not always possible. Unfortunately in many cases shaving or shortening the coat is the only option. Please keep in mind that it is only fur and if we must shave or shorten the coat it will grow back, and we can start over.
